2023 Release – Foldable iPhone Screen Will Be Larger Than iPad Mini

A top analyst at Apple, TFI Securities Analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that soon, the company will join the bandwagon of smartphone makers who love to produce foldable smartphones. The new iPhone foldable device is slated for 2023.

The Apple spokesperson said that Apple believes that the foldable will be a hit because it is a popular demand, as a survey showed the device will reach 15 million to 20 million units in 2023.

It is also confirmed that the new model may come with 8 inches foldable OLED display, as the spokesperson said. Maybe this means it will work like an iPhone that can open up like a tablet, but this one will be coming with a screen slightly larger than the 7.9 inches display on an iPad Mini.

Foldable phones could be the main thing for the future. Kuo said that after 5G, the foldable smartphone is the next biggest thing as far as an innovative selling point of high-end models.

The foldable smartphone models are out for some brands like Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi but they’re very expensive to the point that many would love to buy them. Apple definitely will have new challenges to overcome as it prepares to release its own foldable device.

But Kuo believes that Apple will take the lead in the foldable phones arena, as it will blur the product segmentations between smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Apple itself has not corroborated what Kuo said, but he is a trusted expert at Apple, and he is able to predict Apple’s future offering with accuracy.

The form which the phone will actually take is still not very known. Kuo insists that the new iPhone will adopt a silver nanowire touch solution that will give the company an edge over smartphone makers of this type.
