KINGWEAR KW88 REVIEW
As we have known KingWear to be a smartwatch manufacturer with style and class, we bring to you another smartwatch off their chest – the KingWear KW88 3G Smartwatch. It is also worth stating that the same smartwatch company manufactured the trendy and affordable KingWear GV68 smartwatch. I feel KingWear is really here to make a statement, a mark, whenever smartwatches are being mentioned.

Lets have a look at what the KingWear KW88 smartwatch is made of under the headers below.
DESIGN
Before moving to the design of the smartwatch, I’d love to quickly commend KingWear as a brand for the time and effort they put into designing and creating a beautiful, petite, and cozy package for their smartwatches. It really is lovely.
Moving on to the smartwatch dimensions, the KW88 has a total length of 285mm (straps and body inclusive). The main aluminum body measures 56mm x 46mm x 13.5mm. See the imahe below for full dimensions.
Truth be told, KingWear’s input towards making the KW88 a one-of-a-kind smartwatch can be seen on the smartwatch design. The KingWear KW88 Smartwatch has a really nice aesthetic. The smooth and finely brushed aluminum body houses a control button and a camera to the right, and a slightly raised 3D numerals (constituting the bezel) around the screen.
The adequately perforated watch band also gives enough room for aeration of the wrist when worn. Also, the materials which the band is made from contains no poisonous substance that can do damage to the wearer’s wrist.
DISPLAY
The KingWear KW88 3G smartwatch is sports a 1.39 inch with an impressive pixel density of 286PPI (pixels per inch) for super crisp and in-depth clarity of images or whatever is being displayed on the screen. Using the KW88 smartwatch under sunlight is no problem thanks to the 400×400 AMOLED display.
PROCESSOR, OS & STORAGE
The KingWear KW88 is powered by a ‘powerful’ Quad-core MediaTek MTK6850 processor. The CPU is also equally fast as it has a clock speed of 1.39GHz CPU. Anyone conversant with chipset would know that the kind of chip used on the KW88 is most commonly used in smartphones and rarely in smartwatches. The KW88 comes preloaded with quite a number of applications and a 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM is all you get to store app data and multimedia (probably you best workout songs or any song).
Unlike the KingWear GV68 that has the ability to run proprietary Operating system (either Android or iOS), the KingWear KW88 runs efficiently only on the Android Lollipop v5.1 OS. iOS support is limited.
CAMERA & MULTIMEDIA
As mentioned earlier, the KingWear KW88 has a camera situated at the right hand side, just below the control button. The camera was manufactured by SONY and is of 2.0-megapixels quality.
Picture formats supported include GIF, JPEG and PNG. Music forma; MP3. Video format; MP4. Video recording, HD video playback, and Voice recording are also supported.
