Google Lens
The LG G7 ThinQ is the first smartphone that is immediately launched with Google Lens, which works with the latest AI and camera capabilities. Google Assistant and the Google Photos app use the feature and help you identify objects such as sights, books, plants and animals. In addition, you also get more information about the objects. On 8 May, Google’s 1/0 developer event starts, where we can learn more about Google Lens.
Special AI button
To use Google Lens, a special button has appeared below the volume controls. If you tap twice on this, you can get started with Google Lens. Just tap it once, then Google Assistant comes up and you can chat with the virtual assistant. You can also use the button as a kind of walkie-talkie by holding it down for a long time and you can immediately talk to Google. The microphone of the smartphone is equipped with new voice recognition, so that the assistant recognizes your voice commands up to five meters away.
3D sound with DTS – X
The new LG flagship is the first smartphone that uses DTS – X to create 3D sound for all kinds of content. LG has a lot of focus on the quality of the audio since quite a few people use their smartphone to play music. For example, the inside of the device is used as a resonance chamber to amplify the sound up to ten times and to create a woofer effect.
Super Bright Display
Something else that is new to the G7 ThinQ is the 6.1 inch QHD + display with a 19.5 – 9 Full vision screen ratio and a 50 percent slimmer bottom edge. LG uses its latest LCD technology Super Bright Display to provide a clear screen that will not bother you from direct sunlight.
Extensive G7 ThinQ camera
The camera has also improved with the LG G7 ThinQ. The AI functions that made their debut in the LG V30S we see back but a lot more extensive. Where you had eight ways to make your photos with the V30S, you have no less than nineteen different options for the G7 ThinQ. The new Super Bright Camera feature also ensures that even in low light you can make beautiful shots, without making your images pixelated.
The LG G7 is one of the many Android devices that has taken over the notch from the iPhone X. If you do not like this, there is fortunately an app to heal you with that. With Nacho Notch you are so away from the inlet.
