In recent years, mobile devices, in general, have been improving significantly in many aspects, such as battery, design, ergonomics… However, there is one aspect in which we have not advanced much, and it is the subject of batteries, because nowadays, although the devices have relatively large batteries, between the power and the screen does not last long, or at least not what we would like in most cases.
Seeing this big problem, present today in most device, Google has decided to try to solve this a few years ago, and for this added in Android by default an energy saving mode, with which they are closing processes in the background, and certain animations are reduced, among other things, to maximize battery life as much as possible.
What many do not know, is that you can configure your device so that, automatically, when you notice that there is little juice on your device, it automatically activates the battery saving mode, in order to be able to hold on for longer, although reducing some functions. For this reason, in this tutorial, we will teach you how to set up this mode in a simple way.
How to activate battery saving mode automatically on Android
Doing this has many advantages and can be very useful, and to do so you should only follow the steps indicated below. But, yes, it is possible that these steps vary slightly with your device, or even that the manufacturer of your phone or tablet does not allow it.
- Go to the settings of your device and, in the main menu, look for the option called Battery.
- Now, find the option of energy saving. It usually appears hidden in the upper right, after a drop-down, although sometimes it is in the lower part, below the usage statistics.
- Within the savings options, you will find an option called ‘Activate automatically’. You just have to press there and then select if you want it to be activated when you have 15% battery left, or when you have 5% left, there you decide.
You see, in this very simple way you can extend a little battery of your Android device automatically, which is not bad.
