A lot of people would like to know how to turn off camera shutter sound on iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xr. The three new iPhones all have pretty decent cameras. The iPhone Xs and Xs Max have dual rear cameras while the iPhone Xr has just one. However, the iPhone Xr is still able to take Portrait mode pictures just like the other two. A lot of these phones users will definitely be talking a whole lot of pictures with their devices which brings us to the shutter sounds every time that happens. The shutter sound probably doesn’t bother those who don’t takes pictures too often. How To Turn OFF Camera Shutter Sound On iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max And iPhone Xr
Note – Before we begin, I’ll like to say that turning off the shutter sound on iPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xr doesn’t mean you can now go ahead start taking pictures of people without their consent.
A lot of people have tried plugging in their headphones to connecting their device to a Bluetooth headset in to somewhat ‘mute’ the shutter sound. This method will not work as the shutter sound has been programmed to use only the speaker of the device. There is also no option in the settings Menu to turn this off. If you’ve searched, then you know this is true. The only known way to mute the shutter sound of the camera is to put your phone in vibrate mode. You can do this by pressing the volume down button till its enters the vibrate mode. Once in this mode, all sounds on the phone goes mute, including the shutter sound when taking a picture. Once you’re done taking the picture, you can then remove it from the vibrate mode.
