For those who do not know it, the Always On is a very useful function that allows you to monitor notifications and other information while the phone is on standby, without having to activate and unlock it each time.
In practice, with this feature, the mobile phone screen is always on, even if the device is in standby, showing all the information we want- from the clock to today’s date, to notifications of scheduled events. Unfortunately, only some smartphones have this interesting feature natively, but thanks to an app you can enable it on any Android device.
Always On on any smartphone- here’s how
The Always On function is very useful but we recommend enabling it only on smartphones with an OLED screen, in which the impact on the battery is much more negligible than the classic LCD display.
You can have the Always on on your Android smartphone thanks to the Always on AMOLED app, available for free on the Google Play Store by clicking here. The app is in the BETA phase but it already works perfectly on all Android devices. Despite being completely free, the application is completely free of advertising and does not need to make in-app purchases to be used.
Its functions are really many- it allows to have at hand notifications, clock, date, calendar commitments, weather and much more. Everything can be customized according to your tastes and needs. Allows you to activate Always On, or only during charging, or only when the battery reaches a certain level of charge or, again, at a specific time.
It also allows you to decide how to wake up the screen, whether with a double tap, a swipe or other simple gestures. The option that allows you to activate the proximity sensor to lock the device when you put it in your pocket is very useful, so as to guarantee greater battery life. Really hard to ask for more.
