Acer Aspire Switch 10E Review And Price in Nigeria

Students and others who work long hours on their PC will definitely love the Acer Aspire Switch 10E. Boasting more than 8 hours of battery life, this 2-in-1 is a lightweight solution for students or mobile pros who work from 9 to 5 with little or no need to bother much about power supply. Powered by an Intel Atom processor, the 10-inch hybrid is on the small side, but it can handle most productivity chores and multimedia tasks aptly. However, I am not too impressed with the dull audio output on this notebook because I like my sounds clear and loud when working on my PC.

THE DESIGN

In terms of of battery life, thanks to Acer on this but in terms of design, no thanks because I’m not too down with it. Well let’s not go into that. However, the ports on the Acer Aspire Switch 10E are neatly arranged. You’ll find micro USB, mini HDMI, a microSD slot and a headset jack on the left side of the tablet portion of the hybrid. On the right, there are buttons for power, home and volume.

In case you want to whip out a mouse or a flash drive, Acer was kind enough to add a full USB port. Unfortunately, it’s 2.0 instead of the faster 3.0. If you want to snap a quick photo, you can make use of the 2 – megapixel cameras located on the front and rear of the tablet. The poor camera is my other quarrel with Acer on this because the picture quality aren’t too great.

GENERAL PERFORMANCE

If you ask me, the performance of the Acer Aspire Switch 10E is just average. Powered by 1.33-GHz Intel Atom Z3735 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM it will help you create documents, do some light image editing, stream movies and television shows. Dare to do more tough work like opening 20 tabs in Google Chrome and you will understand you are looking for trouble.

THE PRICE

Starting at N70.000 in Nigeria, the Acer Aspire Switch 10E is quite affordable.
