Woh! Those in need of a great 2-in-1 notebook now has something to hold on to. What’s more cool is that this notebook is coming in the name of Acer Chromebook R11 which of course should suggest to you that this notebook runs on the chrome OS by Google.
The Acer Chromebook R11 flaunts a Comfortable keyboard; Colorful display; Fairly good performance with 4GB model. But my only problem is the less than average performance of the battery.

THE DESIGN
The Acer Chromebook R11 in my view has a clean design that is really attractive. The Chromebook R 11 is decked out in a clean, elegant white chassis with a diamond pattern on the top and bottom of the casing. However, the build quality could be better if you ask me. One other great thing to note about the R11 is the fact that it’s mobile friendly. At 11.6 x 8.03 x 0.76 inches and 2.7 pounds, the R 11 is a small machine that will fit in your bag and go with you anywhere.
In terms of ports the Acer Chromebook R11 isn’t that loaded but at least it got all it takes to meet your basic connectivity use. The left side has the DC-in jack for power, an HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port and an SD card slot. The right side is home to the headphone/mic jack, a USB 2.0 port, a lock slot and the power button.
GENERAL PERFORMANCE
The Acer Chromebook R11 obviously wasn’t built to perform hard tasks. My configuration features an SD intel Celeron N3150 processor and 4GB of RAM. The machine switched between tasks quickly, depending on how many tabs I had open. With 11 tabs open, including some streaming video and a game, I started to notice a little bit of slowdown. That doesn’t mean it didn’t do all the basic things you will need a PC for.
THE PRICE
Starting at N60.000 the Acer Chromebook R11 is quite affordable and suitable for students.
