Nigerian phone makers, AfriOne are doing their best to keep up with the ever demanding smartphone, tablet market. DESIGN

By mere visuals, the AfriOne 2-in-1 Transformer is a tablet that’d sure catch attention at first sight. The device has a very sleek, black body which would be so appealing to your eyes. The 2-in-1 tag comes from the fact that the tablet is convertible. You can choose to make use of it as a tablet, or attach the keyboard to use as a laptop. So, this tablet has been designed to care for both your office and coach needs.

DISPLAY

The display size of the tablet is pegged at a large 10.1 inches with an IPS screen type. This is with a screen resolution of 800 * 1280 pixels. The display size seems like one that’d be very comfortable to use and carry about. Your two palms would be very needed here.

PROCESSOR AND OS

A Quad-core processor is what the tablet is built on. The processor speed of the tablet is configured at 1.3 GHz. This speed proves somewhat slow for our liking, don’t you think? Going further, it runs on an Android operating system.

INTERNAL STORAGE AND RAM

An inbuilt 32 GB storage is made available for your storage of music, videos, documents and as many other files. The tablet does not support the use of an external SD card. Taking care of the smooth running of the devices on the tablet is a 2 GB RAM. This I think would do proper justice to an extent. But if it doesn’t, I can’t imagine how shitty a game experience would be on the tablet.

CAMERA

On the rear of the device, there’s a 5 MP camera. While on the front is a 2 MP camera. Expectations are not usually high in this department as tablets are most times NOT used to take pictures or record videos. By the way, reports have suggested that the use of tablets has substantially decreased amongst users. This would translate that manufacturers would be cautious of how much they spend on specs of a device.

BATTERY

As its powerhouse, the AfriOne 2-in-1 Transformer Tablet packs a 6000 mAh battery. With the trends of tablets having large battery capacity, one can easily decipher that they are mostly targeted at heavy device users. With this large capacity, the AfriOne transformer should surely last users for more than 24 hours.

PRICE OF THE AFRIONE TRANSFORMER 2-IN-1 TABLET

The price of this glorious device ranges from N50,000 to N65,000 in Nigeria. This price would depend on your location in the country.

    • My name is Hamisu Abdullah Dauran. I had wanted to buy this product (AfriOne 2-in-1) but I’m scared with these trending events of broken screen.
How can you convince me to still go ahead with my intention of buying the product.
