Allview Soul X5 VS Oukitel C12 Pro – Design

The Allview Soul X5 sports a pleasant design. One thing I so much love about the phone is the smooth panel and the curved edges. The handset features metal on the overall body with dimensions of 72 mm x 149 mm x 7.9 mm which is not that thick.

The Oukitel C12 Pro also has a notch on the front, and the phone is built with a Polycarbonate material which is not that premium nor ugly. It’s available in Black, Gold, and Purple colors while the Allview Soul X5 is available only in Black color. Both phones have a fingerprint scanner slotted on their back, followed by a dual camera setup with an LED flash.

Allview Soul X5 VS Oukitel C12 Pro – Display

The Allview Soul X5 has a screen size of 5.86 inches with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 Pixels and 287 pixels per inch density. It has a 2.5D curved glass with a corning gorilla glass 3 for protection. The Oukitel C12 Pro has a bigger screen size of 6.18 inches with a screen resolution of 480×996 Pixels and 179 pixels per inch density.

The phone has a 2.5D curved glass as well with a Dragontrail Glass display protection that is Scratch Resistant. On the display, the Oukitel C12 Pro despite having a bigger screen comes with a lower pixel density, and the resolution is not anywhere close to that of Allview Soul X5 smartphone. So the Allview Soul X5 will offer clear visuals than it’s rival.

Allview Soul X5 VS Oukitel C12 Pro – Camera

The Allview Soul X5 has a combo camera of 16 Megapixels + 5 Megapixels with a single LED flash and a front facing camera of 16 Megapixels with F2.0 Aperture, and Face Recognition features. On the Oukitel C12 Pro, you will also get a mediocre dual camera of 5 Megapixels + 2 Megapixels on the back.

Though the camera promise 1080p video resolution just like it’s rival, you will hardly get a sharp video recording on the phone. It has a front facing camera of 2 Megapixels with Interpolated Resolution 5MP, and Face Recognition. Don’t expect the Face ID to work accurately like the Allview Soul X5 smartphone. On the camera, the Allview Soul X5 still wins.

The Allview Soul X5 has a MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762 chipset with an octa-core processor that runs at a speed of 2.0 GHz with 4GB of RAM. It has 8-core and PowerVR GE8320 with an inbuilt memory of 32GB which is expandable with micro SD card. Allview Soul X5 VS Oukitel C12 Pro – Battery & Price

The Allview Soul X5 has a battery capacity of 3000mAh, while the Oukitel C12 Pro has a bigger battery capacity of 3300mAh. Both phones do not support fast charging technology, and they are powered by Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

It’s only on the battery that the Oukitel C12 Pro wins. On the price, the Allview Soul X5 will cost around $180, while the Oukitel C12 Pro is selling at a price of $99.99.

Our Verdict:

The Oukitel C12 Pro is nowhere close to the Allview Soul X5 both in performance and design. Though the phone sport similar design with the Allview Soul X5 which is obvious, the Allview Soul X5 will offer more Premium body feel than the later.

The only thing that makes the phone a better option in the budget category, and the bigger screen, bigger battery and fingerprint scanner on the back. The body is also not that bad considering the price tag. So if you are looking for a phone below $100, the Oukitel C12 Pro is a better device.
