AMD Ryzen 3000 Series Is Now On Sale In India – Find Out The Price!

AMD has launched 8 new 7nm Ryzen 3000 series desktop processors along with its new Radeon RX 5700 XT and Radeon 9RX 5700 GPUs. These are the first CPUs which is built on AMD’s Zen 2 architecture and 7nm technology.

The motherboards based on X570 chipset will use the Ryzen 3000 series processors and will be equipped with a faster PCle 4.0 standard for superior connectivity between core PC components. This motherboard has also gone on sale.

The high-end CPU including Ryzen 9 3800x 12 cores will be launched by today for sale. And the previously announced Ryzen 9 3950x powered by 16 cores will become available during the month of September 2019.

AMD Ryzen 9 3800X specifications & price

The Ryzen 9 900x CPU with 12 cores and 24 threads which will run at a base speed of 3.8GHz with 4.6 GHz boost speed. This CPU model will have a 105W TDP and 6MB of L2 cache and 64MB of L3 cache. According to AMD, the 7nm technology has made possible for the company to increase its core density and cache amounts within the same socket AM4 interface. The pricing of this processor will be around at Rs 35,900 in India and after 18 percent of GST, the price will reach up to about Rs 42, 470.

The pricing of the other models of Ryzen 3000 series processors which will be launched today includes the (8- core/16 thread)  Ryzen 3800x and Ryzen 3700x priced at Rs 28,490 and Rs 24,990. Both these price are inclusive of tax.

The (6-core/12 thread) Ryzen 5 3600x and Ryzen 5 3600 will be priced at Rs 17,690 and Rs 14,990 (without tax) respectively.

During the launch event, AMD has claimed that these processors will deliver single-threaded and multi-threaded performance better than the Intel’s current 9th generation desktop processors including the high-end core i9-9900K. Intel has been in problem due to its 10nm based CPUs and the company has also made multiple changes to its 14nm based CPUs to stay alive in the competition.
