Earlier here on TechVaz we reviewed the Asus ROG G752, today we are taking it back to the Asus ROG G751JY which can confidently brag in the market for having a s3xy and eye-catching design; Comfortable, gamer-friendly keyboard; Bleeding-edge graphics performance; Blistering boot and transfer speeds; Runs cool and quiet when gaming. These whole constitute what I want from a laptop. However, the price you will have to pay for this babe is somewhat expensive at N460.000 (That’s same price as the Alienware 17) the G751JY’s poor audio quality is another thing you will have to deal with really!
THE DESIGN
Generally speaking, the Asus G751JY has a curvaceous look. The edges of the notebook are slightly rounded, and the lid has an almost imperceptible bend that starts from the rear and gently flattens out toward the front.
Dare ask me about ports and connectivity and I will boldly refer you to the left side where you will find a pair of USB 3.0 ports, a Blu-ray writer, a 3-in-1 card reader and a secure lock slot. Along the right, there’s another pair of USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, a Thunderbolt, Ethernet, VGA and inputs for Audio – on, headphone, microphone and power.
