Asus flagship smartphone the Asus Zenfone 5 ZE620KL has officially been announced at the 2018 MWC. The device was unveiled alongside the Max M1.
The flagship looks absolutely stunning and beautiful, sporting vertical dual rear cameras at the top left corner. Internally, the Zenfone 5 ZE620KL is an absolute beast, packing up to 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. Without further ado, meet the Asus Zenfone 5 ZE620KL.
Design
A beauty to behold no doubt made completely from Aluminium Alloy and reflects light beautifully. There are no surprises here though, Asus is known for making sleek-looking devices and this isn’t an exception. The iPhone X-Like dual rear camera is quite a trend, its fun seeing almost every OEM going with what Apple made popular.
But in a unique twist, the dual-LED flash is no place near the middle of the dual shooters as it sits underneath them. The fingerprint scanner is just above the Asus logo in the middle, offering easy access to the phone and private apps. The device is very slim by the side measuring just 7.7mm in thickness. It weighs just 158g overall and available in Blue and Silver colours only.
Display
Another feature Apple made popular, the bezel-less display with top-notch. The display fits the Asus Zenfone 5 ZE620KL amazingly well with super minimal bezels. The top-notch houses the selfie camera, speaker grille and ambient light sensor.
Look at how beautiful the 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is. Boasting of 1080 x 2246 pixels in resolution and 402 pixels per inch density. The bezel-less screen got up to 81.3% screen to body ratio which is really impressive, to be honest. The screen has 1500:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 and 95.4% NTSC. The

Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with Octa-core processor clocking at 1.8 GHz for a smooth ride. It has a 64-bit CPU architecture and a 14nm process technology, while the Qualcomm Adreno 509 graphics processor handles graphics. The Zenfone 5 ZE620KL runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Zen UI 5.0 skin on top.
There are two versions in terms of RAM, one with 6GB and a much cheaper variant with 4GB. Both have the same memory speed of 1866 MHz nonetheless. For storage, there are two versions as well, one with 128GB and a cheaper variant with 64GB. However, both are upgradeable up to 2TB using a memory card in the SIM slot 2.
Camera
The dual rear 12MP (f/1.8 aperture) + 8MP (f/2.0 aperture) comes with a dual-LED flash and captures 4K resolution images. The Sony IMX363 camera boasts of an OmniVision OV8856 PureCel Sensor, 1.4um pixel size, camera wide-angle of 120º, phase detection, 4-axis EIS, 24 mm focal length and other quality features.
The selfie camera isn’t left out, the 20.2MP selfie camera comes with OmniVision OV8856 PureCel Sensor as well. It boasts of f/2.0 aperture, 83° wide angle lens and Faces Recognition technology.
Battery
Powering the Asus Zenfone 5 ZE620KL up is a 3300mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology.
