Benchmark Test Shows Snapdragon 710 More Powerful Than Kirin 710

Two Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 and HiSilicon Kirin 710 middle-class processors were launched a couple of weeks. The Snapdragon 710 is Qualcomm’s premium mid-rate processor. Kirin 71o is a mid-level Huawei processor to replace Kirin 659.

Benchmarks tests have been performed on Xiaomi Mi 8 SE which uses Snapdragon 710 and Huawei Nova 3i using Kirin 710. It shows that the Snapdragon 710 is more powerful in single and multitasks processing capabilities. What is interesting for us is the Snapdragon 710 mark not far behind Huawei P2o Pro that uses Kirin 970 in a single test.

At the same time, the Huawei P20 Lite (Huawei Nova 3e) mark that uses Kirin 659 is much lower than the Huawei Nova 3i. So no surprise that Nova 3e’s sales will be halted shortly after Nova 3i entered Malaysia market on July 28th.

Both Snapdragon 710 and Kirin 970 are manufactured using 10nm process while Kirin 710 is still through a 12nm process. So for now, Snapdragon 710 is the most powerful middle-class processor on the market.
