Dual camera with nice features
Where the G5 still came with a single camera at the back, the Moto G6 is equipped with a beautiful f / 1.8 double camera. The module consists of a 13 megapixel and a 12-megapixel lens, with which you can take beautiful pictures. Thanks to the accompanying advanced imaging software, you can then make your photos a bit better than they already were. The front camera also received a boost from a 5-megapixel lens to an 8-megapixel sensor. This also helps you immediately unlock the device via Face Unlock.
Nice display
The Moto G6 comes with a 5.7 FHD + IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 18 – 9, which makes it perfect for viewing your movies. Often a mid-ranger saves on the display to make the device cheaper, but Motorola has ensured that you have something beautiful to look at. By default, it is not the brightest screen and is set to display colors slightly bluish and cool. But you can dive into the settings to tackle this if it bothers you.
Long battery life
Motorola is proud of the fact that the battery of the Moto G6 would last a long time. How long is pretty long? According to the official specifications, it goes along all day. If the 3,000mAh battery is still on at any given time, you can add hours of power to the battery life within minutes. The device is supplied with a TurboPower charger.
Limited storage space on Moto G6
Where you normally can increase the storage space of most Android devices via a microSD card up to 256GB, the G6 is “only” 128GB. If your storage space is empty, you have to delete or move things to a cloud. By default there are two storage versions, giving you either 32GB or 64GB of space for your apps, videos, and photos.
Small working memory
The working memory also seems a bit on the small side, but on the other hand, we are talking about a middle class. You can choose between 3GB or 4GB of RAM to help your device move forward. Nowadays with many devices, it is also possible to go for 6GB and sometimes even 8GB. If you’re used to heavy apps that you have at the same time, the Moto G6 may not be entirely for you.
