Looking at the BLU Vivo One Plus 2019 from face value, it is easy to think that the phone is landing into the smartphone market as an Android Pie smartphone. But that is not the way it is. This phone, announced and released in January 2019, comes with Android Oreo and other good features.

At this point, it is good to say that the BLU Vivo One Plus 2019 comes without any special features. However, this short review will help us to see just how good the device is and what category of people would find it most interesting.

Design and Display

To start with, BLU Vivo One Plus 2019 phone arrives in bar shape body design. Dimensions are 156.7 x 75.2 x 8.3 mm and the weight specification is 189 grams. It comes in black and silver color for now. Even so, this phone has no waterproof protection but it has fingerprint sensor and face recognition technology.

Also, it is a 6.2 inches screen of IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen phone, which comes without a secondary display but with display protection. Further, it sports 1520 x 720 pixels of screen resolution. Furthermore, there are 16 million colors, coupled with other nice features as 19:9 aspect ratio, and 2.5D curved glass.

Camera Features

There is dual primary rear camera setup of 13 MP plus 2 MP that comes with LED flash. Additionally, at the front the selfie camera is 8 MP which comes without LED flash. However, the video performance in the device is 1080p.

The camera features in the phone are as follows- Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR, self-timer, scene mode, and white balancing setting.

Hardware & Software

The BLU Vivo One Plus 2019 also sports Android OS v8.1 Oreo as the operating system which we think will get Android Pie update in due time. In addition to that, it comes with MediaTek MT6739 chipset which comes with process technology 28nm, 64-bit architecture. Moreover, the CPU is 1.5 GHz Quad-core Cortex A53, while the GPU is PowerVR GE8100.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Vivo One Plus 2019 is entitled to 2GB of RAM which is not able to expand no matter what. At the internal storage level, it has 16GB space. Happily, that can be increased to 64GB with a micro-SD card. There are four sensors in the phone and they are accelerometer, proximity, light, and fingerprint.

Network and Connectivity

This Vivo device is supported by GSM, HSPA and LTE networks. In view of this, it has 2G, 3G and 4G available for connectivity purposes. This makes it a 4G compliant mobile device that has dual nano SIM card slot.

Furthermore, network support in BLU Vivo One Plus 2019 are Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack and USB 2.0. Please note, there are no HDMI, NFC, and infrared in this device.

Battery Life BLU Vivo One Plus 2019

The battery is good at a Li-Po 3000 mAh removable that has no wireless charging and no fast charging technology. Nevertheless, talk time and standby time are also not specified.
