Cricket Vision was quietly released in the month of October 2018 as simple 4G Android device that is made for people who don’t have a lot of money but want to enjoy some of the good things a premium smartphone can offer.

As such, this device comes with moderate design and display features, having Qualcomm Snapdragon as its mainstay in the performance department. Add to that the fact that this phone only makes use of one SIM.

Design and Display of Cricket Vision

This smartphone comes in plastic body design and dimensions are 154.94 x 78.74 x 8.89 mm and its weight is 178 grams. It comes in only one color – blue. Moreover, this phone is not a water resistant device, has no fingerprint sensor and no face recognition technology.

This is a 5.5 inches screen of IPS capacitive touch screen, which comes without a secondary display and without any display protection. Further, it sports 854 x 480 pixels of screen resolution. Pixel density is 178 ppi, and other features include 68.6 percent screen to body ratio.

Camera Features

There are two cameras in the Cricket Vision phone with one to the rear and the other to the front. The rear of the phone is host to 5 MP camera. This comes with LED flash. Further, at the front for selfies there is also 2 MP, which comes without led flash. Video performance is 1080p@30fps.

Camera features in this device include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR and even more.

Hardware & Software

For Cricket Vision, Android OS v8.1 Oreo Go Edition is the operating system at the helms. We believe that it will upgrade to the latest Android version. In addition to that, Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset is found inside and it works with 28nm process technology coupled with 32-bit architecture. Moreover, CPU is 1.1 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7, and GPU is Adreno 304 400 MHz.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Internal memory of the device is 1GB which the user cannot increase by any means. Furthermore, the internal storage spec is 16GB which can be increased to 128GB through a micro-SD card. There are three sensors in this phone; accelerometer, proximity, and light.

Network and Connectivity

Supported networks in the device are GSM, HSPA, and LTE. That makes it a 4G smartphone that is also able to handle both 2G, 3G and 4G altogether. It is working with one nano SIM card slot.

Other network support items are Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack and micro USB 2.0. At least, there is no HDMI, NFC, or infrared herein the Cricket Vision.

Battery Life Cricket Vision

Powering this device is a good Li-Po 3000 mAh non-removable battery that does not have wireless charging, and no fast charging technology. Talk time and standby time is up to 17 hours and up to 620 hours respectively.
