Cubot X20 Pro Specs Review, 4000 mAh Battery, Metal Frame

If you have seen the X20 version of Cubot X20 Pro, you know what quality really means. This new phone, released in the month of August, is another definition of high class in the design of mobile phones. From the display features to battery features, I can see that the phone is very useful. The 4000 mAh battery is a delight, bearing in mind that Cubot is not so heavy on smartphone batteries. Let’s check out some of the specs of this phone below.

Design and Display of Cubot X20 Pro

First, let’s consider the design a bit. This phone has bar shape and when you look at the back you’ll see the cameras and fingerprint scanners there. For now, we can’t be sure of the dimensions and weight, so let’s leave that apart. But we can see that the phone is arriving in two colors of brown and blue, which is not enough for those who really love colorful things.

Display type in Cubot X20 Pro is IPS LCD technology, capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch feature. The screen size is is 6.3 inches HD+ with 1080 x 2340 display resolution. Display colors are 16 million and there is no secondary display at all. Going further, pixel density is 409 ppi. Display protection includes scratch resistance and GFF full lamination.

Camera Features

Cubot X20 Pro has four cameras. There are three of them to the rear and one to the front. At the rear we find 20 MP, 12 MP and 8 MP. However, the video recording is equipped with full HD recording. Also, the front side has a selfie camera of 13 MP. The camera is fortified with dual-LED flash and other nice features from the camera department.

Hardware and Software

This device comes with Android OS v9.0 Pie. The user interface is modified accordingly. In addition to that, there are hardware parameters that include MediaTek Helio P60 (MT6771) chipset with a CPU frequency of Octa core 8 Cores 2.0 GHz, and the GPU is ARM Mali-G72 MP3, 3 Cores, 800 MHz Cores 2. This tells you how fast the phone can operate for multi-tasking purposes. But it is actually important for the features it carries.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

For Cubot X20 Pro, it comes with memory 6GB of RAM that is not able to increase no matter what. The internal storage is 128GB which is not bad at all. There’s also a memory card slot to boost storage further externally up to 256GB. On the other side, the sensors in this device are proximity, light, fingerprint, compass, and accelerometer.

Network and Connectivity

Cubot X20 Pro is also a 4G Android smartphone, which is able to work with networks such as 2G, 3G, and 4G. Furthermore, the speed compositions are varied and the phone works with two nano SIM cards to carry out connectivity operations. Other network connectivity components are Wi-Fi, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, USB 2.0, headphone jack and other components such as NFC. But no HDMI is found herein.

Battery Power

Powering the Cubot X20 Pro is a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery. This phone lacks wireless charging but it has fast charging option. This battery is good because it is able to handle all the aforementioned. So the battery can really be a good backup for the phone.

Price and Availability

The price of Cubot X20 Pro is $275 approximately and that means the buyer may be able to find it in varying prices online at the time of purchase. It is readily available, has been released and is available at shopping stores as from the month of August 2019.
