E&L 6C Specs Review, Android Oreo, 3000MAH Battery

E&L 6C is another gem from the smartphone company. This smartphone has been released in the month of July 2019, meaning it is fresh out of the factory. It is a lightweight, moderate battery, poor screen resolution phone, which for its price is not bad all since this is an entry level smartphone. The phone is big enough when you look at the display screen but we will examine the full specification of this mobile device below.

Design and Display

E&L 6C is a plastic designed smartphone which comes with colors of black, red, gold, and rose gold, which means fans have a wide choice when it comes to picking favorite colors of the phone. Dimensions in the device are 71.3 x 147 x 9.2 mm and it weighs 145 grams with the battery factored in. This is not a waterproof device but is somehow fortified with display protection.

The E&L 6C is 5.5 inches large and having IPS capacitive touchscreen display. Its screen arrives with resolution 480 x 960 pixels which is rather low but common in smartphones of this nature. The pixel density is 195 ppi, but there is no secondary display in this phone and the display protection is 2.5D curved glass screen.

Camera Features

There are only two cut-back cameras for the device and they are 5.04 MP at the rear, able to produce 2592 x 1944 pixels of images. The cameras can also produce videos of 1280 x 720 pixels each time the user engages in video recordings. Other cool camera features in this device are HDR, auto focus, panorama, and others. This camera department is so poor that only young people may not bother about the image or video quality.

Hardware and Software

The E&L 6C device runs on Android OS 8.1 Oreo on a modified Android user interface. Furthermore, there is Spreadtrum 9832E chipset for this device. CPU is clocked at 1300 MHz ARM Cortex A53 4 Cores, while the GPU is ARM Mali T820 MP1, 680 MHz 1 Cores. Definitely, the chipset will have no trouble working with the operating system.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

The storage of E&L 6C is 1GB of RAM. The RAM cannot be expanded but the internal storage of 8 GB can be boosted externally with a microSD because there is provision for that. On the other side, the sensors in this device are proximity, light, and accelerometer. This is the mirror of an entry level smartphone.

Network and Connectivity

At the network connectivity department I find that E&L 6C comes as a 4G Android smartphone, working with great and varied speeds. Notably, the phone is able to browse at LTE 2600 and LTE-TDD 2300 MHz it is also able to handle networks such as 2G, 3G, and 4G. The SIM slots inside it are two and they are used for micro SIMs. Other network connectivity components found on the phone are Wi-Fi, hotspot, loudspeaker, Bluetooth GPS, A-GPS, USB 2.0, headphone jack, and other components. However, there is no NFC or HDMI technology in the device.

Pros

  • Varied colors to choose from
  • Android 8.1 Oreo
  • Beautiful design
  • Good performance features
  • Good battery power

Cons

  • Poor screen resolutions
  • Poor camera features

Battery Power

To power E&L 6C, there is a non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery. This is good as most phones in this category always arrive with 2000 or 2500 mAh batteries. The mobile device is not equipped with wireless charging and has no fast charging option available.

Price and Availability

Officially, the price E&L 6C is good between $50 to $65. However, as to the availability of the phone, it will soon be shipping to different countries in the world.
