Design
The body was made mostly from Ceramics and Plastic as expected, and it’s quite an interesting combination. The body reflects light beautifully, like when we unboxed the Elephone U Pro. The first thing you’d notice at the rear, is the dual shooters and its positioning.
They are now at the top middle, with the dual-LED flash now above the cameras in a unique twist. Of course, the fingerprint scanner is still by the side. Speaking of sides, it measures just 7.9mm in thickness, but weighs 190g because of its battery. It’s available in Black, Red, Blue and Green.
Display
Elephone introduced the notch display first on the A4 budget smartphone, so there are no surprises here. However, it’s obvious the notch have been reduced a bit, giving room for more screen. Elephone isn’t ready to get rid of the bottom bezel completely as they came out to play as well.
It comes with a bigger 5.99-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, this is perfect for big screen lovers. The pixels have been increased as well to 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, with a pixel per inch density of 403. The screen dishes out a 19:9 aspect ratio between with LED Notifications and stretches up to 77% screen to body ratio.

Hardware and Software
Running the race here is the MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763V chip with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here runs at a fast speed of 2.0GHz with 16nm process technology. In the graphics department, the Arm Mali-G71 MP2 graphics processor comes with 2-Cores and clocks at 700MHz.
1GB of RAM was added here, making it 4GB of RAM space available for multitasking with 1.6GHz memory speed. For storing files, 64GB is ready to accommodate all your files, you can upgrade up to 256GB if you can let go of a SIM slot. The A4 Pro runs on Android 8.0 Oreo as well.
Camera
The dual 13MP + 13MP shooters at the rear captures quality photographs of 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension. The camera comes with lots of features like portrait mode, exposure compensation, HDR, ISO settings, Panorama and a LED flash. While for selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie camera that supports Face ID as well.

Battery
Powering the Elephone A4 Pro is a 4000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging and wireless charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 1.9 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
