The successor to Huawei’s EMUI 9.1 operating system is already in the final development phase and is scheduled to be officially released on August 9th at the Huawei Developer Conference 2019. Shortly before the launch event, the promotional images were disclosed revealing several key features.
According to the source, the EMUI 10 operating system promo was published online on the Huawei developers website in China, which saw major visual and performance changes in the upcoming EMUI 10.0.
These are the following features and changes observed in the EMUI 10 operating system:
- Classification of the design and effects of the user interface elements.
- Management and sorting of the gallery contents.
- Video ringtones.
- New customization options for themes, backgrounds, and fonts.
- Improvements to the functionality of system animations, games, and videos.
The promotional images also mark ” 10.0 a new user interface everywhere ” and ” different user interface ” which clearly underlines the important changes in the user interface. However, we have to wait for the HDC 2019 event which was scheduled from August 9th to 11th for all the official features of EMUI 10 and other announcements.
To remind you, Huawei has already confirmed the EMUI 10 update for at least 17 smartphones so far. These include Huawei P30, Mate 20, P20 series and many others. Not only Huawei, but its secondary brand Honor also confirmed the EMUI 10 update based on Android Q for Honor 20, Honor 10 smartphones.
In addition to EMUI 10, Huawei is also working on its latest flagship smartphones- Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. Most likely, these devices will be the first company laptops to be supplied with the EMUI 10 skin ready for use.

EMUI 10 – Release date
EMUI 10 has been confirmed to be announced on August 9th at the company’s annual developer meeting. Coming to implementation via OTA, it will happen shortly after Google has started distributing stable Android Q updates for its Pixel devices.
Huawei has scheduled an annual three-day developers conference in Dongguan City, China, from 9 to 11 August. During these days, Chinese telecommunications technology will announce several new hardware products and software services. Among all, EMUI 10 will be one of the main announcements at HDC 2019.
EMUI 10 is the next biggest update for Huawei and Honor devices. This last EMUI skin will be based on Android Q OS. Huawei has not disclosed any details on EMUI 10, so August 9th will be the date when all Huawei fans will know all about the new user interface.
