The public beta will be available in July, and if you don’t have a developer account, it’s probably the first opportunity to test it.

iOS 14 Home screen toolsets
With iOS 14, new toolsets of various sizes are coming to your iPhone, these toolsets can be placed on the home screen and look much more attractive than what we have seen in previous versions of iOS. Apple says it wants to bring this functionality to the iPhone after learning how well toolkits work on Apple Watch.
At the moment, it is not clear exactly which applications will use the toolkit, but in the event; we’ve seen the watch, Apple news, weather, calendar, and a few more.
iOS 14 Application library
A new feature called the app library is at the end of the home screen in iOS 14. The library, which helps to organize your applications better, automatically separates the files without having to do it manually. For example, all your social apps are in one folder.
Also, you can now hide apps you don’t want on your home screen; they will appear in the Application library instead of the home screen.
iOS 14 Apple Clips
Have you ever needed an app but didn’t want to download it? App Clips, which Apple calls “light and fast,” comes into play right here. It allows you to access certain features of certain apps with a card that opens at the bottom of the screen and use the app without downloading the entire app store.
For example, if you want to use an electric scooter that you can unlock with an app and don’t want to spend time downloading the service while you’re out, Apple Clips will be useful here.
In addition, Apple will publish NFC tags to be used in daily life, App Clip Code and images containing NFC will be presented and improvements will be applied.
iOS 14 Siri and translation
Siri, which we reviewed at the event, has been redesigned for iOS 14, and now the answers from Siri don’t cover the entire screen; instead, it appears as small notifications at the top of your phone, as normal notifications appear. You can also send voicemail with Siri now.
This seems to make Siri much easier to use on your iPhone. Apple believes it will make Siri a much more useful voice assistant than before.
Another development is the translation application. With the translation application, you will be able to conduct real-time offline conversations at a high level of privacy. Currently only 11 languages (English, Mandarin Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Russian, and Portuguese) are available.
iOS 14 Messaging
Do you want to always have a specific person on your messaging app? With iOS 14, this is now possible. Messages application, the possibility of fixing the conversations also taking various updates including.

iOS 14 Maps
Apple claims that the Maps app is the best way to explore the world. As we have seen during WWDC, there are many innovations and improvements in the application.
This includes content guides about a place. So think of it as a travel book; you can get the information directly from the Maps application.
If you have an electric car, Apple Maps will create specific routes for you, showing you where the charging stations are on your journey.
The application also provides convenience for cyclists. It gets direct improvements, including a warning of whether there is a steep slope on the route, such as the option to search for quieter roads and cycle paths. However, these developments are currently only available for New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and some cities in China. Apple says these will come to other cities around the world soon.
iOS 14 picture-in-picture
Another new feature is the picture-in-picture functionality. A feature that allows you to continue watching videos simultaneously while using other apps.
Did you get a message on your phone while in the middle of a TV show? Now you can reply to the message without missing anything.
iOS 14 CarPlay
Have you ever wanted to leave your car keys at home? If you now have a compatible vehicle, you will be able to create a digital key that allows you to unlock and operate the vehicle with the iPhone.
This is especially for the 2021 BMW 5 Series, which is currently only coming, but this will come to other car models in the future.
iOS 14 Smart home controls
With the extended smart home controls located in the control center, it provides more control over the smart home.
Since the home app also offers more automation suggestions, you don’t have to manually control the devices.
iOS 14 Privacy
Apple has always been great about privacy, and with iOS 14 it takes things a step further, requiring all apps to get permission from you before doing anything.
So you will get more transparency when an app uses your phone’s location, microphone, and camera.
