The Excelvan BT-1077 is one of the many tablets produced by that customer-friendly company, Excelvan. What defines this tablet is not it’s high-end specs; no, the Excelvan BT-1077 doesn’t have high-end specs. What makes it stand out are the large screen and moderate features at such a low price. Though this tablet was manufactured a long time ago, it is still worthy to be used today.

The Excelvan BT-1077 possesses a 10.1-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1024 * 600 pixels. The TN (twisted nematic) display technology in use in the tablet makes it fast enough to avoid pixelation, but limits its vertical viewable angles. This is one major flaw in this tablet, because a tablet this large would normally be used to watch movies and similar stuff, and wide viewing angles are important for a tablet to be usable in almost any place.
The tablet is 1 cm thick and weighs just 500 grammes. It is made of plastic and comes in black colour only. It comes with a USB Cable and power adapter as well as a user manual to get you started quick.

The Excelvan BT-1077 is powered by an AllWinner A83T ARM processor with eight Cortex-A7 cores. The processor has a speed of 2GHz and is paired with a PowerVR SGX544 MP1 GPU to ensure faster lag-free operations.
The BT-1077 tablet comes with a RAM capacity of 1 GigaByte and an internal storage capacity of 16 GigaBytes which allows you to store as many multimedia files as you want, and you can expand it to 32GB with an external SD card if you want. The tablet uses the Nand Flash storage technology which saves power and offers hard-disk-like performance.
Battery
The Excelvan BT-1077 packs a 4,800mAh Lithium-ion battery and a 5V/2A power adapter which ensures that the tablet lasts long enough for you to enjoy its features.
Connectivity
The tablet doesn’t have a SIM slot which means you can’t use terrestrial networks on it. It however comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n which allows you to connect to wireless networks, browse the internet and transfer files at the speed of light.
The tablet comes with Bluetooth 4.0 technology which allows you to pair with other smartphones, tablets and headsets and share data. It however doesn’t support GPS which means you can’t enjoy wireless navigation on this device.
Camera
The camera specifications of the Excelvan BT-1077 impress me to some extent. It sports an 8MP camera unit with LED flash at the back, and a 2.0MP camera at the front for taking selfies.
Software and Hardware
The Excelvan BT-1077 possesses a 3.5mm audio jack, has a gravity sensor, a built-in stereo speaker and microphone. The tablet runs on the Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box.
