How To Generate Remita For An Offense
To generate Remita for an offense kindly follow the preceding steps:
Step 1: Go to the Remita portal using https://www.remita.net/
Step 2: Once it opens click on “pay FGN and state TSA”
Step 3: Select “ FGN- the federal government of Nigeria”.
Step 4: Immediately you clicked on it, it will load and brings out the Remita page, put the Name of MDA as Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) – 011102400100.
Step 5: Next is “Name of Service/Purpose, click on the drop-down arrow and select “ Offense” and allow it to load
Step 5: After it finished loading, select the “vehicle type”.
Step 6: Insert the GIFMIS Code and then scroll down to select your offense by clicking on any box that has your offense. Immediately you clicked the offense you committed, the amount you will pay will reflect on the column after the GIFMIS Code.
Step 7: Select the vehicle make either Toyota, Honda, etc.
Step 8: Insert the “Description” and the “Vehicle Number Plate”.
Step 9: At this point, you have to insert your Offense Ticket Number and Driver Licence Number on the column provided.
Step 10– Select the “sector command” and a unit of which you were caught.
Step 11: Insert the “Vehicle Registration Number” and the “vehicle color”.
Step 12– Insert your name in full, email address if there is any and phone number.
Step 13: To confirm your transaction you have to key in the characters in the image that will be shown to you into the box and click “proceed to make payment”
Step 14- Once you click on proceed to make a payment, it will load and bring you to another phrase where you will go through everything and then click on submit and print.
