Former Intel employee stole confidential files

Industrial espionage is something that afflicts all industries, especially the very competitive technological industry, in which any advantage can serve to achieve a short period of dominance, and many euros to enter the bank account.

That said, it looks like Intel caught one of its former employees stealing confidential information regarding the Xeon processor range. We are talking about Dr. Varun Gupt, who left the processor giant to join Microsoft last year… and who apparently took more than 3900 files with him.

So, apparently, stolen files have confidential information about the highly regarded Intel Xeon processors. We are talking about strategies, prices, important market data, and even production capabilities from Intel for upcoming releases.

Therefore, Intel promptly started to move, and put Gupta in court, asking for compensation of $ 75,000, and a court order so that the personality does not try this game again in the future.

However, Dr Gupta is denying all the charges, saying he is innocent and has nothing in his possession. In short, we will have to wait and see how it goes in court.
