Galaxy Note 9, Eldar Murtazin confirms the 4000 mAh battery

The technical features and main features of the expected Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been unveiled in detail by Eldar Murtazin, a well-known Russian “leaker”. The new report peeps out soon after Samsung officially unveiled the second edition of its Galaxy Unpacked event in which the new Galaxy Note model is due to launch. The event will take place on August 9th.

The South Korean giant has also recently sent invitations to the media for the launch of the new and highly anticipated device. The laptop should have a design similar to the Galaxy Note 8, officialized last year, but it seems that the new product will have a larger battery and more color options than its predecessor.

According to Murtazin, the differences in the design of the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Note 8 would be minimal. The tipster highlighted that the new model has a Super Infinite curved panel with Super AMOLED support that debuted on its predecessor in August last year. However, it seems that the overall weight of the new generation Galaxy Note has increased slightly due to a significant 4000 mAh battery, much larger than the 3300 mAh battery available on last year’s model. It seems certain the presence of a double camera on the back, arranged horizontally, with a variable opening support, similar to the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +.

In addition to the Galaxy Note 8, moreover, the rumors reveal that the Galaxy Note 9 has a better optical image stabilization (OIS).

In the United States and South Korea, the Galaxy Note 9 should arrive with a Qualcomm processor, while its global versions will arrive with an Exynos chip. Murtazin also said that the basic version of the device will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of integrated memory – however, the device will also be available in 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and in another 8 GB version of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Furthermore, all these variants will have the support of the microSD card for memory expansion.

Finally, Murtazin said that the shipments of the Galaxy Note 8 have already been interrupted and only a few units are still available in stock.
