The Geecoo G6 was launched in January with the latest Android operating system. A bezel-less beauty that comes with flagship specs and high-class features.
The flagship device is ideal for gamers, packing 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, a massive battery capacity and other quality features. Without further ado, meet the Geecoo G6.
Design
The metal overall unibody looks perfectly gorgeous in both colors to be honest, sporting a glass finishing as well. The body reflects light beautifully, while the vertical foundation at the top middle houses rear camera, dual-LED flash and fingerprint scanner, in that direction.
A beauty to behold, this is by far the best looking Geecoo smartphone I’ve ever seen. The Geecoo logo and inscription are visible, as the company claimed their terribly. It’s quite slim for a gaming smartphone, measuring just 7.9mm in thickness. The G6 comes in two exquisite colors, Gold and Black.
Display
No top-notch design here on the screen, but nonetheless the screen is bezel-less. Dishing out an 18:9 aspect ratio, while the screen stretches up to 79% screen to body ratio. Sporting super minimal top and bottom bezel.
The bottom bezel is pretty redundant, while the top houses the selfie camera, speaker grille and another LED flash. The 5.99-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is very sharp and brilliant. Boasting of a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with 403 pixel per inch density, making your games more clear.
Hardware and Software
Running the race here is the MediaTek Helio P23 MTK6763 chipset with a 64-bit CPU architecture and 8-cores of processor. The octa-core processor clocks at 2.0GHz and has a 16nm process technology. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-G71 MP2 comes with 2-Cores and reaches a speed of 700 MHz
Multitasking through games and heavy apps shouldn’t be a problem with 4GB RAM. The RAM has a memory speed of 1600 MHz for a smooth ride through apps. For storage, 64GB is available and upgradeable up to 128GB with a memory card. The G6 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with modified user interface.
Camera
At the rear, there’s a crystal clear 16MP camera that captures 4K resolution images. The camera comes with a dual-LED flash and other features capturing photographs with 4608 x 3456 pixels in dimension. With the Geecoo G6, you can also record FHD videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. The 8MP selfie camera at the top bezel comes with a 88 degree wide-angle lens for group selfies.
Battery
Powering the Geecoo G6 is a 4000mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take up to 2 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.

Well. The G6 is a smartphone with the latest Mediatek 6763 platform Octa-core processor. So no too much problem.
To me I think the phone is quite expensive though the phone is packed with a very nice spec! 4GB RAM is a very good one especially for gamer and the 64GB storage capacity is excellent! No hanging or lagging issue! Nice one all the same
