Geotel G9000 has been introduced by the company on its website as the most affordable smartphone with 9000mAh battery. That’s not all, the G9000 is also the world’s thinnest smartphone with 9000mAh battery, according to the company.
Apart from its massive battery capacity, other specs is in the budget range. The MediaTek MT6739 chip is onboard with Quad-Core processor, there’s 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space, fingerprint scanner and 4G LTE connectivity. Lets find out more.
Design
Geotel is famous for making rugged-like smartphones and the G9000 didn’t fall short. A combination of Metal and Polycarbonate exudes at the rear, making it feel solid when held. However, you should know that the Geotel G9000 doesn’t have IP68 certifications and isn’t water resistant.
The Metal foundation at the top middle houses the rear camera, dual-LED flash and fingerprint scanner in a horizontal position.
Turning over to the sides, we can see the volume keys and power button as it measures 12mm in thickness and weighs over 200g. In terms of colouring, it’s available in only Black.
Display
Geotel brought on its A game in terms of display, stretching the screen to deliver an 18:9 aspect ratio. Perfect for big screen lovers, the G9000 dishes out taller visuals to users. The bottom bezel is extremely minimal, with no physical navigation buttons.
While the top bezel houses the selfie camera, another LED flash, speaker grille and sensors. The 5.99-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen gives you a bigger picture in striking detail. The screen has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and 269 pixel per inch density, while a 2.5D Glass protects it.
Hardware and Software
Working underneath is the MediaTek MT6739 chip with Quad-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-Cores of processor here runs at a standard speed of 1.3GHz with 28nm process technothelogy. The PowerVR GE8100 graphics processor reaches a maximum speed of 570MHz.
The 2GB of RAM space should handle all multitasking of light apps and games, it has a memory speed of 667MHz. While the storage space is a standard 16GB, which you can easily upgrade up to 128GB with a memory card. The Geotel G9000 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified interface.
Camera
The 13MP rear camera has f/2.2 aperture for taking photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels. The camera comes with all the standard features including digital zoom, ISO settings, autofocus, scene mode, panorama and lots more. There’s a dual-LED flash to help in low light environments as well. The 5MP selfie camera has f/2.8 aperture and comes with a front LED flash as well.
Battery
Powering the Geotel G9000 is a 9000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging this massive battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 5 hours.
