The Gionee M12 is a new smartphone from Gionee mobile. The standard version of the Gionee M12 Pro. The new device is blessed with a nice body that features a quad cameras setup and a large battery.
Design And Display
There is no doubt about it that the new Gionee M12 spots a nice and elegant body design. The device is wrapped with plastic on the panel and the panel also houses the cameras and fingerprint scanner. The entire body is thick which is all thanks to the large battery. It also comes with a punch-hole display.
The screen has a display size of 6.55 inches under IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It provides a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 ratio, and 266 PPI density for vivid colors. The Gionee M12 is further blessed with a Scratch Resistant Glass and it also has an 83.1% screen-to-body ratio.
Cameras Features
On the inside, the smartphone packs an impressive camera system that will capture beautiful selfies. The main camera is 48 MP coupled with 5 MP ultrawide sensors, a 2 MP macro, and another 2 MP depth sensor. The camera features an LED flash for night photos and can shoot 1080p@30fps videos. UPfront is a selfies snapper of 16 MP with FaceID and AI Beauty.

The Gionee M12 is available in two chipsets. The standard model has a Mediatek MT6762D Helio A25 chipset with an octa-core clocking at 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.4 GHz Cortex-A53. The premium version, on the other hand, has a Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 chipset with an octa-core processor clocking at 2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 & 6×1.45 GHz Cortex A53.
