Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL  – Google’s latest flagship smartphones – were launched yesterday during the “Made by Google” hardware event in New York. The Mountain View giant has also unveiled two other products – Google Home Hub and Pixel Slate.

Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are equipped with various updates compared to their predecessors, which affect the cameras, design, processor and more. Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are not very different from each other – the biggest differences are in terms of display, battery, and design.

The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL displays are respectively 5.5 inches and 6.3 inches and are available in three color variations. The key points of smartphones include Snapdragon 845, 4 GB of RAM and the 12.2-megapixel rear camera. However, the most interesting thing that comes with the new Pixel phones is Pixel support for a much faster wireless charging experience, which also allows you to use smartphones at the same time. The new generation also has a new color variant, called “Not Pink”, meaning “not pink”.

Google Pixel 3 has an Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-HD + (1080 × 2160 pixels) flexible OLED display with an 18 – 9 ratio. Comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and features the Always-on Display technology. Furthermore, HDR support is also among the display features. Google Pixel 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor (four cores clocked at 2.5GHz and four cores clocked at 1.6GHz), paired with an Adreno 630 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

As for the photo industry, Google Pixel 3 features a 12.2-megapixel dual pixel camera with a pixel size of 1.4 microns, aperture f / 1.8 and a field of view of 76 degrees. There is a dual camera on the front, with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and another 8-megapixel normal lens.

Google Pixel 3 is also characterized by a 2.915 mAh battery that should guarantee up to 7 hours of life with 15 minutes of charge.

The Google Pixel 3 XL also has an Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch flexible QHD + OLED display (1440 × 2960 pixels) with an 18.5 – 9 ratio. Google Pixel 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor (four cores clocked at 2.5GHz and four cores clocked at 1.6GHz), combined with an Adreno 630 GPU, 4 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage. The photo compartment is the same as the Google Pixel 3, while the battery is superior – we are facing a 3430 mAh.

Finally prices – Google Pixel 3 costs 899 euros (for the 64 GB variant) and 999 (128 GB), the Pixel 3 XL 999 euros (64 GB) and 1099 euros (128 GB).
