Haier 18 is one of the 4G Android devices that fans are proud to let out in the month of December 2018. It is a nice device which tries to incorporate everything into a little space. There is nothing spectacular about the smartphone except that it comes in its own unique way.

Design and Display of Haier 18

This smartphone comes in aluminum alloy body design and dimensions are 152.5 x 72.5 x 8.3 mm and its weight is 145 grams. It comes in only one color – black. Moreover, this phone is not a water resistant device but has fingerprint sensor and no face recognition technology.

This is a 5 inches screen of IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, which comes without a secondary display but with display protection. Further, it sports 1440 x 720 pixels of screen resolution. Pixel density is 282 ppi, and other features include 18:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved screen, and 76.1 screen to body ratio.

Camera Features

There are two cameras in the device with one to the rear and one to the front. The rear of the phone is host to 13 MP camera of 5P lens. This comes with dual LED flash. Further, at the front for selfies there is also 8 MP, which comes without led flash. Video performance is 1080p@30fps.

Camera features in this device include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto focus, HDR and even more.

Hardware & Software

For Haier 18, Android OS v7.0 Nougat is the operating system at the helms of affairs. We are not sure that it will upgrade to the latest Android version. In addition to that, MediaTek MT6753 chipset is found inside and it works with 28nm process technology, and 64-bit architecture. Moreover, CPU is 1.3 GHz Octa-core Cortex A53, and GPU is Mali T720 MP3.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

The internal memory of the device is 2GB which the user cannot expand. Furthermore, the internal storage spec is 16GB which can be increased to 128GB through a micro-SD card. There are five sensors in this phone; accelerometer, proximity, light compass, fingerprint.

Network and Connectivity

Supported networks in the device are GSM, HSPA, and LTE. That makes it a 4G smartphone that is able to handle 2G and 3G and 4G altogether. It is working with two nano SIM card slots.

Other network support items are Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, headphone jack and micro USB 2.0. At least, there is no HDMI, infrared herein the Haier 18.

Battery Life Haier 18

Powering this device is a good Li-Po 3300 mAh non-removable battery that does not have wireless charging, and no fast charging technology. The user is not able to get the phone to full charge from zero percent in about two hours.
