The Haier G51 is definitely one of the cheapest smartphone from tech giant Haier. The company released lots of smartphones earlier this year and stormed the Android market with force.

Design
There’s no wow effect at the back here, no fingerprint scanner or any special feature. The plastic body looks nice though, only the rear camera and dual-LED flash are visible at the top corner. The two features are in a vertical position at the top middle and will work together.
The Haier logo is at the bottom corner as the entire body will be very comfortable to hold and flaunt. Moving further, it measures 9.1 mm in thickness making it quite bulky. It should be very comfortable to hold and operate with one hand, weighing just 155g. You can get it in Black, Gold, White and Blue colors.
Display
It’s not bezel-less, but going with the price, the screen is pretty much standard. Sporting extremely narrow bezels and the usual top and bottom bezel are out to play as well. Furthermore, three navigation buttons are at the bottom bezel for easily going through the phone.
While the top bezel houses the selfies camera, LED flash, ambient light sensor and speaker grille. The 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The details on the screen should be well detailed with 196 pixel per inch density. The screen stretches up to 66.46% screen to body ratio and supports multi-touch.
Hardware and Software
Working underneath is the MediaTek MT6737M SoC with 4-cores of processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The quad-core processor reaches a clock speed of 1.1GHz and boasts of a 28nm process technology. The ARM Mali-T720 MP4 graphics processor comes with a single core and clocks at 550MHz.
In terms of RAM space, there’s only 1GB available on the Haier G51. The RAM reaches a memory speed of 530MHz for smooth light multitasking. Store files and apps in the 8GB storage space available and upgrade up to 32GB whenever you want. The Haier G51 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Camera
I really had high hopes for the camera om this smartphone, surprisingly the 5MP shooter only has f/2.4 aperture. The camera comes with a dual-LED flash and will be able to capture just 2K resolution images. You should be able to take photographs with 2592 x 1944 pixels in dimension. Records videos of 720 pixels at 30 frames per second and take selfies with the 5MP selfie shooter. The selfie camera has f/2.4 aperture with LED flash for night video calls as well.
Battery
Powering the Haier G51 is a 2000mAh removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 1.8 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
