Chinese tech company Hisense is very popular for its consumer electronics products, especially smart TVs. In recent times, the company has made inroads in the smartphone industry with several cool smartphones. This week saw the birth of three new phones, HiSense U30, King Kong 5, and King Kong 5 Pro.

Hisense U30 stands out among the trio in the sense that it features a very generous 4,500mAh which would definitely give users a better standby time compared to a couple of other devices in the market. The design style of the U30 is unique in that it uses the punch-hole selfie camera design that has featured in just a few smartphones so far. The design ensures the bezels are at their barest minimum, giving the device a 91.66 percent screen-to-body ratio.
As for the specifications, the Hisense U30 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 675 mid-range chipset. When the phone was first announced, it became the world’s first device powered by this processor. On the camera end, the U30 packs an AI-powered dual rear camera setup. The camera configuration includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary camera sensor. At the front, the punch-hole houses a 20-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
As stated earlier, the phone crams a 4500mAh battery under its hood. The battery supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4 fast charging technology. Hisense touts the phone to charge up to 80 percent in around an hour. That is not so spectacular but it is impressive.
Hisense is yet to release the pricing an availability details of the U30. However, the smartphone is expected to carry a price tag of around 2,700 Yuan (approximately $402). It will soon be launched in various markets where the company has a strong footing, including China, Russia, and Europe.
