Google recently updated its Play Store with a fresh feature that allows you set a budget every month to assist in keeping your application and digital media purchases in check.

- Open Google Play on your mobile device or tab, and click the menu button at the top of the screen to have the left sidebar opened.
- Click Account, and then click Purchase History. A budget every month will be visible at the top of this tab, alongside an option for set up in your local currency.
- Click Edit Budget, and type in the amount you do not mind spending on applications and media in the Play Store every month. Tap Save for confirmation.
- Go back to this screen to view how much you have spent every month. But be aware that, the meter will reset itself on the first day of a new month.
- If what you are buying in the store is beginning to go above your budget, you will get notified on top of the “1-tap buy” pop-up. You are able to, definitely, shun it and keep buying stuff.
