  1. Open Google Play on your mobile device or tab, and click the menu button at the top of the screen to have the left sidebar opened.
  2. Click Account, and then click Purchase History. A budget every month will be visible at the top of this tab, alongside an option for set up in your local currency.
  3. Click Edit Budget, and type in the amount you do not mind spending on applications and media in the Play Store every month. Tap Save for confirmation.
  4. Go back to this screen to view how much you have spent every month. But be aware that, the meter will reset itself on the first day of a new month.
  5. If what you are buying in the store is beginning to go above your budget, you will get notified on top of the “1-tap buy” pop-up. You are able to, definitely, shun it and keep buying stuff.
