We all know that the state uses tolls to maintain roads. This is something that should be accepted by everyone who uses the country’s road network. But in some cases the tolls are pinched. Fortunately, with the help of Google Maps, we can avoid tolls, although it usually costs time because we have to travel longer distances.
- First, we choose the starting point and the destination. Next, press the three dots and go to “Route Options”.
- A box will open in which we select “Avoid Tolls” and any other options, then click on “Finish”.
- The “Remember settings” option allows your preferences to persist for the specific location you’re going to—if you always want to avoid highways to get to a particular destination, for example.
- That is, the app will create a new route that will not go through tolls. However, as we mentioned, it is longer than any route that passes through them.
