All registered users on Facebook have a personal profile that shows their posts and content. The format of individual user pages was revamped in September 2011. It became known as “Timeline,” a chronological feed of a user’s stories, including status updates, photos, interactions with apps and events. The layout lets users add a “cover photo”. If you are an admin of a Facebook page, you know the tough job that comes with managing a page. For instance, as an admin for a business Facebook page, your posting, brand, and voice must be consistent as you track its market exposure. For admins of community Facebook pages, you need to keep approving fresh members, replying queries and suggestions, and reviewing posts and comments.
The type of page you run does not matter, and nobody wants a troublesome member. The stress that comes with managing someone who is spamming your business page with false reports or someone who is completely rude and abusive with comments can be annoying.
In such cases, you would need to ban them asap from your Facebook page for your sanity and that of other members. When someone is banned from your page, even if he or she will still be able to share content from your Facebook, they will be prohibited from participating in your Facebook page by publishing or liking comments. - Get yourself logged into the Facebook account with admin control over a Facebook page on your Personal Computer or Mac.
- Head to the page involved.
- Tap “Settings” way up on the page.

- In the left-hand column, tap “People and Other Pages.”
- Tick the checkbox close to the name of the person you wish to ban. If your page has several likes or many members, it is best to search for this person at the top.
- Tap on the gear icon close to the search box, and in the dropdown menu, tap “Ban From Page.”
- Confirm that you wish to ban the individual or people chosen.
