Mirror your Android screen on a TV- so you can do it with and without cables
We often prefer to save videos on our smartphones to play them wherever we are. However, there may be times when we want to watch the series with our friends, colleagues or family members.

With Chromecast and other HDMI sticks

Transmitting screen with a cable
You can also view the contents of your mobile phone on your TV using a cable, although it depends on the type of connector you have available. Generally, we will find three, HDMI (rare), micro USB or USB type C.
If your phone has an HDMI video connector, you’re in luck because it’s one of the easiest ways to mirror the screen. In this case, all you need is a microHDMI to HDMI cable (or MiniHDMI, if that’s the case with your mobile phone or tablet) and use it to connect your mobile phone to the TV.
If your mobile phone has a microUSB connector, you must remember two keywords, which correspond to two standards for the transmission of audio and video, SlimPort and MHL. If your TV is MHL compatible, you will only need a MicroUSB to HDMI cable. Otherwise, you need a small adapter which in any case doesn’t cost much more than an HDMI cable.
Finally, if your phone has a USB Type-C connector, you can use a USB-C to HDMI converter, to which you need to connect another normal HDMI cable to and from the TV.
How to mirror the screen in Windows
While with TV we are very limited in what we can use because we barely have control of the TV’s internal software, in Windows it’s the opposite. In fact, there are many more possibilities.
It is therefore not surprising that there are many applications that can display your Android mobile screen on a Windows PC. Here are some very useful and easy to use.
AirDroid
