How to change playback speed in Netflix on Smart devices
Netflix allows you to choose the speed at which you want to watch movies or TV series on phones or tablets, just press the new ‘speed’ button on the bottom left of the player controls, then you can choose the playback speed you want from the options provided: 0.5x, 0.75x, 1.0x (normal speed), 1.25x, 1.5x, or 2.0x.
The video playback speed will immediately change to the speed you selected.
Options above 1x are for speeding up playback, and below 1x for slowing playback. The ‘1x’ option equals normal speed and is the default.
Note that changing the playback speed may affect the quality of the audio and video, especially at faster speeds. Also, not all content on Netflix may be available for playback at higher speeds, as this depends on the rights granted by the content owners.
