- Launch the Cash App on your iPhone or Android device.
- Click the person’s “Account” icon in a circle in the upper-right corner.

- Click “Privacy & Security.”
- Under “Security,” click “Change Cash PIN.” Scan your finger or face for the verification of your identity if required.
- Type in your new PIN and then confirm it.

- You will receive an SMS or email that will inform you that your PIN was changed.
If you ever receive these messages when you made no attempt to change your PIN, you have to reach out to Square Support as soon as possible.
Do I Need Extra Security While Using Cash App?
Chief Technology Officer for online privacy firm, Disconnect, Patrick Jackson says, “They take an extra level of added security.”
