So turning it off will somewhat make your device unsecure.

How To Disable Location Services On iPhone and iPad Completely
- Open the Settings App on your iPhone or iPad.
Click on Privacy.
Tap on Location Services and Toggle it Off.
You’ll be presented with a prompt asking you to confirm this action, Simply click on Turn Off and it is done.
Just like that, you’ve successfully turned off the Location services of your iPhone or iPad. Apps you have on your iPhone or iPad can’t access the Location of your Phone.
Alternatively, you can turn off Location Services for each app – restricting an app access from knowing your location. This way, you can use an app that requires location services without giving another app access to the same location services. To do this, follow the steps below.
- Open the Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Click on Privacy and Tap on Location Services.
Underneath Share My Location, you’ll see your list of Installed apps and their access. Click on each app to restrict or allow it Access the location services.

Personally, I just can’t disable location services as I depend on through so many apps. The best thing to do is to simply monitor the apps that have access to it and restrict it if you don’t feel comfortable with it.
