1. Avoid placing your laptop on anything like a cushion when it is not switched off. That soft material that cushion possess could prevent the airflow vents, especially the rear vents, that lets the computer to overheat.
2. Do not place anything over your keyboard when the laptop is fully in operation in the closed-lid mode. It’s possible that this action will make the computer to turn on and off from time to time. This could produce substantial heat and could also make a mess of your battery.
3. Always remember to shut down your computer through the night till morning to allow it the opportunity to cool off. If you use it once in a while during the day, ensure it is on standby mode when not in use. This will save power and reduce heat output from the laptop’s components.
