First Factory reset your LG V40 ThinQ

Ensure that you back up your device data before doing this method.

  • First, go and Backup your data on the internal memory.

Wipe the cache partition of the Phone

When the device gathers a lot of temporary system data this can actually lead to the data ending up being corrupt. This then leads to problems with the way the device works which is why it is a great idea to always wipe the cache partition of the device.

  • From the Home screen, Click on Settings.
  • Click the ‘General’ tab.
  • Now go and click on Storage > click on Internal storage.
  • Wait for the menu options show up.
  • Click on Free up space.
  • Click on Temporary files & raw files.
  • Now pick the following options- Clip tray temporary files, Cached data, Raw files from the camera
  • Now Click on – DELETE.
