Option 5: (Regarded as the best) For it to work, you need to understand that the Mail and Calendar app has its configuration. You can find the configuration in the folder C:\users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Comms

So, to force remove the bad email, follow the next instructions carefully:

  1. Log out and log into another local admin account (You may opt to start Windows in Safe Mode for it to work.)
  2. Locate C:\users\~YOURUSERNAME~\AppData\Local\Comms
  3. Replace ~YOURUSERNAME~ with your PC username
  4. Rename the Comms folder to Comms_BAK.
  5. Now, restart the PC in normal mode.
  6. Log in again, start the Mail client and all mail account configurations should be gone.

How to add multiple email accounts in Windows 10/11 mail app
