How to install an application on Apple TV
- Turn on your television, when you turn it on, if you set the default TV to Apple TV, it will directly display Apple TV.
- Please note that if you have not configured the TV to connect to your Apple TV box, do so to use Apple TV features.
- Please note that if your TV is not connected to the Internet, you will not be able to download applications.
- Remember that if you have an old TV (third generation or earlier), you will not be able to download applications on Apple TV.
- Open the App Store, select the App Store (a “A” of pencil, brush, and ruler) and touch the tactile surface of the remote control. You are now in the App Store.
- If you have downloaded the “Apple TV Remote Control ” app on your iPhone, you need to open it, then go to the App Store. See the App Store choices. - Keep in mind that the paid apps display the white button on the price and under the word Buy. You may be asked to provide your credentials for paid apps.
How to install an application on Amazon Fire TV
- To install an application on a Smart TV, switch on your television. When you turn it on, if you have set the default TV to Amazon Fire TV, it will be displayed directly on the home page. Note that if you didn’t connect Amazon Fire TV USB, do it to take advantage of Amazon Fire TV features.
- Please note that if your TV is not connected to the Internet, you will not be able to download applications.
- Access the main menu, with the remote control, go left by clicking on the left side of the large ring-shaped button. The menu will appear vertically on the left of the screen. Open Applications. In the left sidebar, scroll down for applications, once selected, click in the middle of the ring-shaped button to confirm. This is the Select button on the remote control.
- Navigate between applications, you can view apps through multiple topics, such as featured apps, the best free apps, and more. If you only want to scan the list of apps in a category. Click Categories, then choose the one you want to install.
- View an application, have you found an application and want more information? Click on it with the Select button on the remote control. The application page will be displayed. Select download. If you want to download the app, go to the Get button on the app page and click on the Select button on the remote control. Then the application will start downloading on Amazon Fire TV.
- For a paid application, the price will be indicated on the button instead of the word “Get”. Note that in early versions of Amazon Fire TV, instead of “Get”, you can see “Download” or “Install”.
How to install an application on a Samsung Smart TV
- Turn on your television, remember that your TV must be connected to the internet if you want to download applications.
