Due to the way WhatsApp works, to start a conversation with a person, his or her number must be saved in the phone’s address book.
This is not a problem for your regular contacts since it is very likely that you have already registered them on the agenda, but what about temporary contacts? Those you only need to talk to once and you will probably never send a message again.
Trick to talk on WhatsApp without adding the number to your contacts
Communicating via WhatsApp is something we can do in a simple way since all we have to do is add the phone number of the person we want to talk to and we can start a conversation with her.
However, at some point, we may want to start a text or phone conversation with a certain phone number, but for some reason, we don’t want to add it as a contact on our phone’s address book. In these cases, we must carry out the procedure which we will explain below step by step.
In this guide, you will not use any external application that you need to download.
The first thing to do is to copy the following link on the mobile phone from which you want to start the call.

Paste it in your favorite phone browser and before accessing it, edit XXXXXXXX at the end of the URL with the phone number you want to call preceded by the country code (for example, if you are going to write to a number in Italy, you have to type +39 followed by the phone number, removing the + sign that appears first.

Once this is done, you will see a new screen appear asking you if you want to send a new message. You must click on “Send message”.
Now you will see a WhatsApp conversation appear with that number. You have to click on their profile.
Once here, you will see that the call and video call options will appear at the bottom. Select the option that interests you.
In this simple way, you can make WhatsApp calls or video calls to those phone numbers that you don’t want to be saved in your address book.
