How to Set up HomePod As a Home Hub

When you set up your HomePod using your iOS device, the Siri-based speaker will automatically set itself as a home hub.

Make sure the iPhone or iPad you used to set up the smart speaker is signed in to iCloud. Also, make sure that you use the same Apple ID which you used to enable your HomeKit accessories in the Home app.
