  • Click on Settings
  • Click on Lock Screen and Security.
  • Click on Security Folder
  • You will be required to sign in to your Samsung account. Click on SIGN IN
  • Insert your Samsung Account Details and select sign in. If in case you don’t have a Samsung account, then choose to create an account. Just follow the step to create an account.
  • Select the lock method you wish to use for your security folder.

After this, a shortcut to the Secure Folder will be added to your Home and Apps screen.

Once you set the security folder, you can then click its shortcut icon on the screen then start adding files to it. Any picture you taped will be added into the folder, thus it won’t be available for viewing on the Gallery app.

If I am to advise, I will recommend you make the secure folder icon invisible from other users by following the procedure below

  1. Click Apps
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Lock Screen and Security
  4. Click Secure Folder
  5. Click Hide Secure Folder
  6. Click OK to confirm

If peradventure you want to make use of the hidden photos, then you have to unhide the secure folder icon. To do this follow the steps below:

  • Click on Lock Screen and Security
  • Click on Secure Folder
