How To Transfer Airtime from MTN to MTN Using myMTN App

For this method, you will need to have myMTN app installed on your device. If you don’t have it, download it from your device’s application store and install it. Then follow these steps to use the app to transfer airtime:

1. Open myMTN App and click on “Share” on the homepage as shown in the image above. 
2. Under “Share & Borrow”, select “Share Airtime/Data”. 
3. Select “Airtime Share” from the options.
4. Proceed to enter the recipient’s number and airtime amount.
5. Then enter your airtime transfer PIN to complete the transaction. 

How Can I Share Data On With My MTN Phone Number

If you wish to share data on MTN, adhere to these instructions:

• Dial *321*2*1# or SMS REG to 321 to register for MTN Data Share. You will receive a special security PIN.
• You’ll need to change the system generated PIN to a new one that you will not forget. To do this, dial *321*2*5# or SMS Change OLD_PIN NEW_PIN NEW_PIN to 321. For example, text Change 0000 1234 1234 to 321. Where 0000 is old PIN and 1234 is your new one.
• After you change your PIN, you will have to add beneficiaries to your MTN shared Data Bundle account through USSD menu *321*2*2# or by texting Add to 321. Customers are allowed to add about five beneficiaries.
• As soon as you add beneficiaries, it will be possible to share your data bundle among the added beneficiaries by sending Share to 321 or by dialing USSD code *321*2*3#.
