How to transfer files from iPhone / iPad to PC, just a few simple steps to manage and copy audio tracks, photos and movies from iPhone / iPad to PC and vice versa. Here is the process to put into practice to complete the file movement correctly.
How to transfer files from iPhone / iPad to PC with ease
Export and import music
Complete the easy installation of WinX MediaTrans and finally start the program. From the main interface select the Music Manager tab. Then choose the Group by Artist option at the top right to catalog the songs based on their author.
It is possible to export the tracks one at a time or select them all by checking the boxes to the left of each audio track. Once the files have been selected, place the mouse on one of them and click on Export Music. The program will export the tracks to the user folder created during the installation.
To import the songs click on Add Music, select the folder on the PC where they are stored and then the individual files to be moved. Click the SYNC button accessible at the bottom right and you’re done.
A few seconds and WinX MediaTrans will copy the selected tracks from the PC to iPhone / iPad.
Export and import movies
Start WinX MediaTrans by clicking on the link in the Start menu. From the main interface, go to the Video section. The software gives you the option, as for music files, to copy in both directions, from iPhone / iPad to PC and backward.
To import a video from iPhone / iPad, click the Add Video button visible in the top menu. Select the root folder, then the files to be moved. Once this is done, click on the SYNC button at the bottom right to start the whole thing and start the actual copy.
In Video mode, Winx MediaTrans allows you to make the contents of individual folders stored in the iPhone / iPad memory visible. Open the one with the videos to pass on the PC, select them by checking the checkbox next to each one and click Export at the top.
How to copy photos to your computer
Return to the main interface of WinX MediaTrans and select the Photo Transfer tab to prepare the program in the photo administration mode. By clicking one of the Group options visible at the top you can make the photos of the day, month or last year visible.
The images are displayed and organized in folders, as precise as on the iPhone / iPad. To access the single folder, click the triangle at each folder. To choose a photo just click on it.
For multiple preferences, click and hold the Ctrl key.
In Video mode, Winx MediaTrans allows you to make the contents of the individual folders stored in the iPhone / iPad memory visible. Open the one with the movies to pass on the PC, select them by checking the checkbox next to each and click Export at the top.
By default, WinX Media-Trans creates three folders on the hard drive to be used for storing files transferred from iPhone / iPad. To customize its name and position, access the Settings menu from the main interface of the program, select the Path tab and define the destination directories for each type of file.
